My wife & I wanted to celebrate our 39th anniversary by going somewhere we’ve never been. Michelle was highly recommended to us by our daughter and son-in-law after she had created an outstanding honeymoon to Figi and New Zealand, as well as an an adventure to Vietnam a few years later. From the moment we arrived at the spectacular Nayara Tented Camp, we knew we were in for something special. The five-star accommodations, the lush rainforest setting, and the warm hospitality exceeded every expectation. Every activity—from our breathtaking rainforest hikes (day and night), the exhilarating zip lining, to the relaxing hot mineral springs—was unforgettable. Michelle helped us discover the best spa experience we’ve ever had, with a massage, facial, and scalp treatment that left us both feeling renewed. The romantic private dinner and the incredible wine pairing evening were perfect touches that made our celebration feel deeply personal and special. Michelle arranged for an outstanding bilingual guide, Jason, to be with us on our adventures. His passion, knowledge, and attention made every moment of our trip richer. And the people of Costa Rica—kind, welcoming, and proud of their beautiful country—left a lasting impression on us. After our fabulous Arenal Volcano hike, we were scheduled for a picnic lunch. When we arrived at our picnic location, we were shocked to find a large tent for a glamping experience. With the view of the volcano, pillows, and a private chef and bartender. Amazing! Additionally, Michelle left us a wooden keepsake with pictures of my wife and I throughout our 39 years, along with a beautiful, personal message! Completely unexpected, yet appreciated and embraced! Michelle created a truly memorable anniversary experience for us, one that we’ll treasure for years to come. Next year, for our 40th anniversary, we will definitely have Michelle arrange a two week adventure in Alaska!

We just returned from our fantastic Hawaii vacation that Michelle Barth at Just Escape Travel planned for us. We spent time on Oahu, Big Island, and Maui over 2 weeks and were so happy with everything that she planned. Everything was taken care of from the hotels, inter-island flights, and rental cars. Trying to plan a family vacation for 7 to Italy with a 7-day cruise porting in Italy and Spain became very overwhelming quite quickly for me! My husband did some online research and decided on Escape Travel to ease my anxiety! We spoke with Michelle, told her what we wanted to do and she quickly sent over an itinerary for us to review. She made the whole process so seamless and easy for us. She coordinated our flights, hotels, airport transportation, tours, private transportation to all of the tours, ship transfers, and even restaurant reservations since our group was rather large. We also had some challenging circumstances to navigate because of Covid and Michelle was professional and guided us to the best options for us to choose. I couldn’t imagine our trip being as amazing as it was without her help and guidance….and reassurance in some instances!! I have to say also that the partner company in Italy was accommodating, the transportation drivers were friendly and prompt, and our guide Gratzia was amazing!! We will definitely use Escape Travel to help us plan our next family vacation!!

Michelle with Just Escape Travel has provided a most enjoyable honeymoon in Costa Rica for us! We had planned this with her 2 years ago and throughout the many delays and re-scheduling due to Covid, she was persistently responsive, helpful and professional. Our 10 day trip with private transfers and domestic flights within Costa Rica went without a hitch and even the last minute Covid test requirements to get back to the states were scheduled and completed effortlessly. Michelle always provided additional feedback and alternative ideas during the process and helped make this trip a fond memory. 2 years ago we started planning a trip to Buenos Aires and Patagonia. Vetted several travel agencies, and happily elected Just Escape Travel. Michelle gave us fantastic itinerary and hotel suggestions. Three nights before we were to depart (in March 2020), we had to cancel the trip as the world shut down to travel. Michelle stayed with it, and was able to re-book the trip for last month. The entire trip- including flights, airport transfers, day excursions, and hotel accommodations went flawlessly. From hiking glaciers, trekking the Andes, touring Buenos Aires, staying at an estancia, and experiencing beautiful Patagonia it was one of our best trips ever.
