Iconic Escape

First time traveling Down Under? This 13-day escape has you exploring Melbourne, Ayers Rock, Sydney and Hamilton Island.

Melbourne: Day 1 to 4

Once you arrive into Melbourne, settle in at the boutique Hotel Lindrum. Introduce yourself to the city this afternoon by diving into the city’s quirky culture by taking a private Hidden Secrets Tour where you will gain local and exclusive knowledge of the city’s historic laneways. Enjoy the next day at leisure, where you might wander through Southbank, take in the beauty at the Royal Botanical Gardens, go for a ride on the colonial trams or catch a cricket match, a true Aussie favorite. For your last day get outside the city on the Great Ocean Road. This inspiring coastal drive winds through the lush Otway rainforests, to the breathtaking, windswept drama of the Shipwreck Coast.

Ayers Rock: Day 4 to 6

After a few days in the metropolis, fly to Uluru where you’ll be checked into Sails in the Desert deep in the outback. Located far away from anything you will find peace and serenity in this desert oasis. Be captivated by the colors of the red sand and the unique rock formations of Kata Tjuta. Gaze at Uluru as the light changes from a golden hue to bronze and glowing red as the sun sets. You will have an intimate dinner under the stars with Uluru in the background, as a local storyteller shares stories of the Aboriginals, passed down for thousands of years. You have never experienced a night sky like this.

Sydney: Day 6 to 9

Fly to Sydney where you will stay adjacent to the Harbour Bridge at the newly renovated Pier One. We have arranged the ultimate day out on the city exploring multiple city icons starting at the Rock’s precinct, visiting the oldest sites and convict built cottages. Cruise around Circular Quay, then onto the Opera House and the magnificent Botanical Gardens. Explore the surrounding seaside neighborhoods before boarding your yacht at Darling Harbour for a 2-hour sail on the harbour. Today you will be rewarded with 360-degree views of the city while climbing the Harbour Bridge. Voted one the world’s top ten experiences, the Bridge Climb is one not to be missed. There is no shortage of coastline to explore, consider starting your last morning in the eastern suburbs enjoying the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk – 6 km. of picturesque coastal paths. Finish your time in Sydney at the symbolic Opera House and get an inside perspective of the busiest performing arts centers in the world.

Hamilton Island: Day 9 to 13

End your iconic Australian escape retreating to Hamilton Island staying in your very own pavilion at the luxury chic Qualia. Secluded on the northern point of the island offering stunning views of the Coral Sea surrounded by the splendor of the Great Barrier Reef.
